to be honest the pics do the car no justice, it really still does shine like new still.

it is shedded and waiting for me to get the rear quaters fixed or to sell it.. but i figure even if i do fix it and sell it, i will only get around what i can get for it in parts.

Ohh the shell comes with a mild steel copy of an Apexi N1 Exzorst, which sounds mad as. Engine has new timing belt, tensioner & idler & waterpump about 10,000km ago (when i put it in).

Shell - J'zz-R33 gets first Dibbs..

PFC - heaps of interest but nothing certain

G/Box had offers

no interest in engine yet.

I only want serious buyers i want atleast the shell & engine OR shell, box & power FC sold before i pull it all apart

i will... tonight i am about to go to birthing classes with the missus' so i only have 10 mins atm...

Sorry everyone, i forgot tonight and tomorrow night 6-9pm...

will try to get everything up...

You can bolt any RBbox up to it.

ok next question.. will these neo engines fit in r32 without modifications? (apart from engine mounts) or is this a really big job? anyone know?

I can't imagine an R32 conversion being much different to putting it into an R33.

I don't know how much modifying goes into the loome of an RB25(r33) when they bolt them into an R32...

it would be the same on the neo, because it plugs straight into my R33..

As for the rest, bolt your RB20 engine mounts onto the engine, your gearbox, probably your accessories and your away.

to ensure your belts all matched you could probably use an RB20 harmonic balancer if you really wanted.

    • It's something we all have to consider as time marches on. Also consider lifted rally MX5 conversion at that point.
    • I should be fine for a few more years, whilst I do have arthritis I also exercise and do mobility training every day to keep as fit and healthy as I can, military life, which is the actual cause of most of my joint issues, has set daily regimes, which I weirdly enjoy I also train alot smarter now, not really focusing on lots strength or puffy muscles, I'm more focused on maintaining what I have for my future older self, I actually train as much mobility now as I do exercising Check out this "simple" drill I have been doing daily prior to training now for a while now, this has worked wonders in my all round mobility
    • I'd say one thing that may make you sell is the same reason the guy with the hard top roof sold his. He got old, and his back was giving him too much grief stopping him getting in and out... Old guy said he was 73! He looked and sounded younger than 73 to me! Or maybe I'm just aligning with old people more...
    • Already looked at a few prior to getting the MX5, really nice car, had all the mod cons, but I wasn't really sold on the new "look" I did miss my 2017 Limited, and I personally prefer the "look" of the older car over the new model, but, when pondering I kept going back looking at MX5's But it was same same for the new ND's, I wasn't sold on the new "look", especially the RF with its weird roof, which only half goes down, like a targa top sort of thing As I stated before, I did look at NC's, but the cars I looked at were PRHT's, but I didn't like their roof line "look" of the PRHT, until I saw the soft top version, (someone on SAU posted a for sale ad for one with a soft top that caught my attention, you can blame them for my choice.....🤣) and.... that old style detachable hard tops were available for them, which keeps the old MX5 more smoother flowing roof line, and the more rounded body style, similar to the NA-NB, to me, the arse end of the ND looks to "modern" Much like how I prefer the NC1 front bar, over the later models How long will I keep this car for is unknown, but currently, there's nothing else out there that "floats my boat" for a small, fun, little "sports car", that I can play with and enjoy looking at and driving But, who knows what the future holds, and going off current new car styling, if I replace it, it will be a older model something something
