Now i know there has been a few Threads boxing or enclosing pods on 33s. But i havent seen any for GTRs.

I just installed some Blitz Pods onto my GTR and had all intensions of enclosing but now there on i dont know how you do it as there seems to be no room to do it!

Can some body give me some pics or ideas of how to go about it on a GTR

Cheers

Enclosures are one of those special little things that shows individualism. So many people, trying so many ways. In the prev threads there are some good starters with pictures etc.

Use card, or thin particle board to mock up the shapes, then cut from plastic, ally etc.

Look at some of the ready made ones, UAS, ARC etc and come up with your own creative design :P

and thats the other thing...if i was to make a cold air intake for it, where on a GTR front bar could you run the pipe to??? I mean theres no real good spots for it... I have left them open for now and left the side feed air thing in

Cant help with a R33, but if you remove the resonance chamber from a BNR32, and cut a hole where the IC feed pipe goes down, you've got ample direct air flow. Make sure you spank that search button, so your aware of various issues ppl have when they direct large amounts of air to the filters. AFM fluctuations, very short air filter life etc etc.

The best spot for it was where the kindly folk from Nissan put it in the first place, ie over the top of the radiator. You need a 100mm diameter pipe or the equivalent cross sectional area to do the job properly.
