but that's not how it works, if someone was to seriously give ted shit, they should be dealt out the same punishment if ted gave someone else shit. just because mods dont like ted doesnt mean anyone can break the rules, as long as its towards a member the mods dont like. the same as a mod cant just give someone shit because they dont like them, and then ban them when they are given shit back. doesnt work like that, rules are simple, you give someone shit (not in a joking fashion like u talk about) then they get warned/banned, regardless of who its towards or who it's from.

So why do you think the mods don't like Ted180?

I'll give you a hint - it is the fact the every comment out of his mouth is a smartass remark, or personal attached on someone (like Cara), without provacation, nor justification. He has almost never actually added anything contributionary in all of the posts I have seen. As such he gets treated by us with disdain, and has earnt his ban.

Let it go - I am sick of hearing your ranting. If you don't like the moderation here, maybe it is time to move on to another site ....

good example is "deej" over on ns, the guy was a idiot, he was basically a conspiracy theorist who ranted on about everything being a conspiracy, and everyone who didnt beleive him was stupid. everyone hated him, but at the same time, he wasnt breaking any rules, so he had the right to express freedom of speech, as stupid as it was. he was only ever banned when he said he was gonna rape a mod lol.

whether u like him or not doesnt mean mods or other members have immunity to giving him shit. i dont care if you mods give me shit, or other members do, as long as i can defend myself then im happy, if you're letting people give me shit, then banning me as soon as i return fire then that's bs.

as i said before, you called me a prick, yet if i did the exact same to you, i would get banned. mods are not immune to the rules, they have to play by them just as much as the members do.

btw, i never had an issue with ur moderation for the many years ive been a part of this site. as much as u dont wanna hear it, its not just me that doesnt like the moderation these days, it's just no one will speak up here because they know the best it will get them is banned.

Andrew, you're prick for loading me up with Radlers at Kadina. You're a prick for the bad things you did to Luke. You're also a prick for joining me in on hassling Cara in the shower! Is that sexual harrassment then? Oh, what will become of us Andrew? :D

The difference here is this ^^^ was all in good humour Nisskid. Some people are just cruel for the sake of being cruel.

what was all in good humour?

when nightcrawler called me a prick, it was not in good humour, ill link u back a few pages if u want.

errr I never called you a prick (to my knowledge). I don't know you from a bar of soap, so cannot actually make that call. If you go read back, Iam pretty sure I said you were acting like an 'immature little prick', which you were.

Anyway, weren't you the one saying Sled was being a sook for not being able to distunguish between the online world (which you said was something along the lines of 'fun'), and the real world? And now you are having a super sook 'cos you think I called you a prick. ROFLMAO. Hypocrisy much?

The comment about moderation is absolute bs. I think you will find that the vast majority of users around here think that moderation has improved since Sled and Heslo came on board. You and Ted seem to be pretty much the only ones with issues.

And FYI a total of 4 people have had a holiday from the forums this year out of tens of thousands of SA users ....

Like I said, LET IT GO OR F#$% OFF. Like I say to people about Australia - "If you don't LOVE it, leave". Can't be any clearer than that.

i called andrew (or was it heslo, i forget) a dickhead, it earnt me a 20% warning, calling someone a prick is the same thing. this mean we can see warnings for mods?

What was the nature of you calling the Mod a dickhead? :)

Its a different story when the person deserves it. If its warranted, then the mods can do it. Just insulting someone off the bat for no reason, is not warranted. Telling someone their a prick for they way they treated someone badly, repeatedly, is warranted. Didn't you go to school? Its called "discipline". :)

+1 Andrew, moderation on SAU has improved. Just because the main offenders are being disciplined, means you guys are doing your job :D (end brown nosing now) :D

Don't think it was me. No idea, but as Ruby said, there is a context, which you seem to have omitted.

As I said before, Nisskid was indeed acting like an immature little prick, so that's what he was called. He can't have issue with that.

Ruby - your word is gospel. I wish everyone could step back and analyse a situation, and put it as succinctly as you do.

As I said before, Nisskid was indeed acting like an immature little prick, so that's what he was called. He can't have issue with that.

lol of course i dont have an issue with being called a prick, why would i?

just like you shouldnt have an issue if i call u a prick if i think ur acting like one, right?

lol, i dont give a shit if u call me a prick, not if im allowed to call u one back.

insults on the internet just dont bother me, it's the hypocrisy of the situaition which get's me, not the actual insult.

heslo yes, he carries himself with a lot more professionalism and does what he was given the responsibility of being a mod for, keep the peace and keep the place clean.

he doesnt engage in arguments or shit fights, then ban the other person when they get frustrated.

and if you think its only me and ted that have an issue with the moderation ur kidding yourself, seriously.

Wow, the Mods have got alot of cleaning up to do later

I know you guys can move/merge threads, can you also move the "I hate Mods" content to a new thread?

here's the deal, you guys make me mod, and ill clean it up for ya?

deal?

k

Your totally right! but its only the same negative few that never come out and meet the mods in real life. Like i've said before 90% or more of the people think they a doing a great job. I really dont think they are harsh enough, there's way to much off topic crap in the SA section.

huh? i dont have a problem with meeting the mods in real life, ive just never met sled or nightcrawler before, mainly because we just dont go to the same stuff. i've met heslo and he's a top bloke.

as far as them not being harsh enough, maybe not, but that's not what im talking about, im talking about moderating to their personal feelings, if you have never been on their bad side how could u possibly understand what we're talking about?
