but that's not how it works, if someone was to seriously give ted shit, they should be dealt out the same punishment if ted gave someone else shit. just because mods dont like ted doesnt mean anyone can break the rules, as long as its towards a member the mods dont like. the same as a mod cant just give someone shit because they dont like them, and then ban them when they are given shit back. doesnt work like that, rules are simple, you give someone shit (not in a joking fashion like u talk about) then they get warned/banned, regardless of who its towards or who it's from.

good example is "deej" over on ns, the guy was a idiot, he was basically a conspiracy theorist who ranted on about everything being a conspiracy, and everyone who didnt beleive him was stupid. everyone hated him, but at the same time, he wasnt breaking any rules, so he had the right to express freedom of speech, as stupid as it was. he was only ever banned when he said he was gonna rape a mod lol.

whether u like him or not doesnt mean mods or other members have immunity to giving him shit. i dont care if you mods give me shit, or other members do, as long as i can defend myself then im happy, if you're letting people give me shit, then banning me as soon as i return fire then that's bs.

as i said before, you called me a prick, yet if i did the exact same to you, i would get banned. mods are not immune to the rules, they have to play by them just as much as the members do.

btw, i never had an issue with ur moderation for the many years ive been a part of this site. as much as u dont wanna hear it, its not just me that doesnt like the moderation these days, it's just no one will speak up here because they know the best it will get them is banned.

The comment about moderation is absolute bs. I think you will find that the vast majority of users around here think that moderation has improved since Sled and Heslo came on board. You and Ted seem to be pretty much the only ones with issues.

And FYI a total of 4 people have had a holiday from the forums this year out of tens of thousands of SA users ....

Like I said, LET IT GO OR F#$% OFF. Like I say to people about Australia - "If you don't LOVE it, leave". Can't be any clearer than that.

Its a different story when the person deserves it. If its warranted, then the mods can do it. Just insulting someone off the bat for no reason, is not warranted. Telling someone their a prick for they way they treated someone badly, repeatedly, is warranted. Didn't you go to school? Its called "discipline". :)

+1 Andrew, moderation on SAU has improved. Just because the main offenders are being disciplined, means you guys are doing your job :D (end brown nosing now) :D

Don't think it was me. No idea, but as Ruby said, there is a context, which you seem to have omitted.

As I said before, Nisskid was indeed acting like an immature little prick, so that's what he was called. He can't have issue with that.

Ruby - your word is gospel. I wish everyone could step back and analyse a situation, and put it as succinctly as you do.

heslo yes, he carries himself with a lot more professionalism and does what he was given the responsibility of being a mod for, keep the peace and keep the place clean.

he doesnt engage in arguments or shit fights, then ban the other person when they get frustrated.

Your totally right! but its only the same negative few that never come out and meet the mods in real life. Like i've said before 90% or more of the people think they a doing a great job. I really dont think they are harsh enough, there's way to much off topic crap in the SA section.

huh? i dont have a problem with meeting the mods in real life, ive just never met sled or nightcrawler before, mainly because we just dont go to the same stuff. i've met heslo and he's a top bloke.

as far as them not being harsh enough, maybe not, but that's not what im talking about, im talking about moderating to their personal feelings, if you have never been on their bad side how could u possibly understand what we're talking about?

      Welcome to the new year, gang! We've ticked over into 2024, so as usual, we're starting the new year with a chill social out at Aqua Golf! So without any ado, here are the details: Date: Saturday 22nd March Location: Aqua Golf - Penrith Panthers Time: 4:00pm Map: http://tinyurl.com/saunsw-aquagolf All you need to do is bring yourselves down to Penrith Panthers to come and say "HI", hang out, and maybe hit a few golf balls at the drive range. Who knows where the night may take us... What we do know is that there are plenty of food options available at the Penrith Panthers complex. For those of us keen to hit a few golf balls, prices start from $7.00 a bucket. Aqua Golf is open til late, so we have plenty of time to have a few hits and laughs with each other! This is an official SAUNSW event and will be run under a Motorsport Australia permit. One of the things that really sets our club apart is our commitment to being true enthusiasts. When on normal roads we strive to maintain good relations with the authorities as well as the public in general. When attending one of Skylines Australia NSW events please try to: • Be aware of surrounding environment and act accordingly. • Drive courteously on the state’s roads as a true enthusiast should. • Understand how important it is to maintain the good name of SAU:NSW and thus, treat others accordingly. • Any misbehaviour will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave.       Pre-empting heat management  1. The Kraken manifold will be ceramic coated 2. Just purchased some peel and stick heat shielding stuff from car builders, I'll cover some of the firewall behind the dump and a little on the cam cover, this will be done prior to installation as I have ample room to get where I need to now before that realestate has more bits in the way, I'm also planning to modify the OEM heat shield to go back on, but that won't happen until after installation so I know where to hack it up, I'll also cover it with some some peel and stick to neaten it up after the hacking 3. As the dump is stainless with a flex joint coating isn't really a option, and wrapping isn't recommended for a stainless dump, so once it is installed I'll grab some shielding from car builders to cover the dump, as it has some stand off, it "shouldn't" cause any issues and it "should" just keep the radiant heat away from " melty engine bay stuff" Not for heat management, but I've grabbed some more black crinkle coat to paint all the shiny intake pipes, I'll pick the pipe work up prior to installation and use the paint booth and big oven at work to cure them, I'll then wrap them with some bubble wrap so they stay nice during installation

Yes, that's right... we're heading down to Austi Beach Cafe for a breakfast run through the Royal National Park!       a31 chassis pinout/cluster wiring layout

      YO- have been searching and searching for an a31 chassis plug pinout, or someone who knows which wire is for tach.  ceffy was flooded past dash during a hurricane.  having an electrical gremlin appear. tach is wonky reading consistent with a short, and on occasion the right side of my speedo lighting will flicker just for a second then go back to normal.  if no pinout available does anyone know if the tach harness opens or branches anywhere behind the dash? im suspecting a possible root behind the radio as there are more shorts in that area on the accessory loop.
