SNAP!

i see that car almost everyday, works in mt barker, if its the same one? got a bit of flare action going on at the rear.

also, followed a white 32gtr up toward blackwood on sat night i think it was, had bronze rims i think, i was in the 180. i teased him to get him to give it a bit of shit, and he did, and i drooled. i love gtr's.

man that car is wack....BN kits DO NOT suit R33's It is the ultimate way of ruining a nice looking car. :D

Yeh mate, happy as with it!! its pretty much 20% all round......... No new pics as of yet, coilovers should land on wed or thurs and wheels are waiting for coilovers, which i am hoping i can get it all done friday, possible Sat!! So new pics and thread will be updatd then!!

theres something off about it, im not sure what it is though, but yeah the kit is pretty big. i think bigger wheels/less rubber would fill it out a bit better, just looks like the amount of flare the rear guards have got wasnt really needed to fit those wheels.

its pretty clean though, i wont slag it off, i drive a 180, haha.

and keeping on topic,

see the transformers 34 all the time here, and sometimes a white 32 4 door with some decent wheels on it, and a sticker on the bonnet i think.

also just today saw a white 32 2 door, decent wheels with nice polished dish, a white 33 with a big front bar, wheels and a p plate, and also a black 33 parked near the main street, had fmic, nice wheels, stock body i think, looked like it had a bucket on the drivers side but had a cover over it.

and non skyline spots, was a 2 tone blue/grey s13, zorst, black wheels with polished dish near the mall, and see a blue 180 a fair bit, has twin zorst, kit and white wheels.

    • I don’t really have any ideas how to set the timing on the CAS 😂, sounds like the top, sounds like it maybe misfiring as well as ticking,  got the box sorted 😌, must of been a air bubble on the clutch side
    • Use a 2' length of hose (that's 2 foot, not 2 inches) as a stethoscope to localise the source of the ticking. From cam covers? From exhaust or turbo manifold gasket? From injectors? From lower down in the engine? Etc. Use a timing light to set the timing. Put Redline Lightweight Shockproof in the box. It's not the very best thing for the box, but it will take a box that refuses to engage a gear with other oil, and make it engage a gear. I had to put it in when I installed the R33 box I have in my car. It would not select ANY gear when running. Smurf jizz made it work. That was >10 years ago and I still use it. I'm stuck with it now. Failing that - rebuild the box.
    • Well done Duncan. The fuel tank bulkhead lid is also in great condition (some of mine were stuffed). These are now out of production and good ones like that are becoming hard to come by.
    • Wow that's a steal, you've done well there.
