haha thats cool man no worries at all, but i was still a fair bit down the road.

also on the way to work friday morn saw a purple 34 at cambelltown looked nuts

then on the way hom bout 4.30ish saw a maroon 32 GTR in cambelltown area.

I went to Adelaide Clutch Service yesterday and i saw their R34 GTR, which is painted in that factory purple flip colour, it look Extreme. LOL (pun intended)

zomg what sort of Skyline fan are you? Try 'Midnight Purple III' :D

It's like people calling 'Bayside Blue', 'metallic blue' or 'dark blue' .... sorry, it is a pet hate :(

Is Brenton still asking $95k for it? ROFL .... I told him he would never sell it for that .... over 2 years later and he has still got it. No surprise. Beautiful car, but $40k overpriced. I guess he has decided to keep it - how could you part with such an awesome car anyhow?

I am toying with the idea, that if I can get a R35GTR at the right price in a couple of years, painting it either Bayside Blue or Midnight Purple III

Some very nice pics of a similar R34GTR here (click) .... keep scrolling down through the pics to see his collection of cars .... OMFG! Soooooo jealous.

You will note if you look closely in the bottom pics that the one at the left hand end appears to be one of my dream cars - a Millennium Jade R34GTR VSpec NUR! Car porn.

R32 with Night Kids sticker on rear 1/4s on Brighton rd turning right onto Anzac tonight. No idea what time, bout 11?

yeah that was me, been waiting for someone to spot that sticker :D broken wrist finally healed so i was itching to take it out. didnt see many skylines out really couple of grey 33s rolling together on anzac and that was pretty much it. did spot some tool in a v6 vp :( (woulda been behind me at the lights when you spotted me) trying to get me to race him for 20mins on anzac just going next to me and punching it braking and punching it again  i was just laughing at em, i mean my tyres cost more than his car. spotted 4door 34 on rundle st looking pretty sweet, i wouldnt park something like that there though.

The type of skyline fan who owns a 180sx. I do know bayside blue and i even know the paint code is 'TV-2' but i have never actually seen i picture of a whole car in that Midnight Purple III let alone that colour in real life so excuse my ignorance.

Nice .... car looks the goods too. Nice work.

You should market and sell some of the billet items you have created.

We will be through my brother business (Growly Custom Machining) but until my car is running (should be next week) they are untested, (not that i expect there to be any problem with any of the parts). Once we have tested them they will be up for sale.

EDIT!!

This is the best thing we have made for the CA's so far IMO

    • What can't be done with a little bit of decking board or similar timber bolted to a hub flange via 2 wheel nuts is not worth talking about.
    • I noticed something. On the tps sensor and the sensor behind the adjustment screw is adjusted towards the far left. Are these screws supposed to be centered? (this sensor was in the same position before the tune as well)  Also attached a photo of where my car usually idles at when warm (sometimes a tiny bit above that). I think I might have screwed up the calculation and it might have better than I thought lol at 750rpm still not 650rpm though.
    • So for both general interest of engine health, and to rule out any coolant/oil issues, I organised an oil analysis done on the 125,000klm oil Results below, all good, just a bit of fuel dilution which I'm not too worried about
    • This is actually a really good way of measuring what wheels fit. If only there was a similar measurement between hub face and suspension :p That said, it's probably pretty simple to actually measure it all with the wheel off the car for the rear. The front is a bit more complex but..
    • Being the top Google search result for R34 wheel-related inquiries, lemme throw down my experience. I calculated that 100mm from hub face to wheel face is about the perfect fitment for my ENR34 sedan.  I've been running 18x8.5s, ET35, with a 1" spacer. So, 8.5in to mm = 216mm. 216/2 = 108mm. 108-35 = 73mm. 73+ 25 (1" to mm) = 98mm.  If you wanna get close to this on dif widths, here are the offsets you'll want: 9" - ET around 15mm 9.5" - ET around 20mm 10" - you're crazy, but ET around 30mm All these should fit perfectly on a non-widebody, non-GTR Skyline. Note that it's probably the absolute max, and you're probably better off running a couple degrees of camber in this config, but it looks great, super flush.
