[SA Cars Spotted Thread #3]

Spotted a sweet looking white Stag with black graphics down the side and got a bit of a wave this arvo in the North-eastern area.

Yeah which Mazda dealer do you work for Bec? The CX7 is not too bad .... I much prefer the build quality and after-sales support of Hondas, but might have my arm twisted if a premium black with black leather CX7 came up with under 30,000km at the right price.

Guys, unfortunately the wife wants a bigger SUV style car (for children transportation), so V35 sedan and Stag are out (she currently has a Honda Accord Euro Lux, which we bought new).

Spotted a black 33 gtr on flagstaff hill road, at about 7.20am whilst i was on the bus. Had some sexy rims on it too.

and a silver 34, with gold BBS rims, parked on pirie street, at about 12pm or so.. XLJ- something

the stag is out? really? The M35 would be longer than the CRV. So the horizontal space would be more in the stag...whereas the CRV has more vertical space. If you dont like stacking things (and your kids aren't 3m tall) then you'll possibly have more usable space in the stagea. It'll even take a rear-facing baby seat no worries at all :D

As for rear seat room, its more cramped sitting 3 people in the back of my in-laws' toyota prado than my M35 stagea. And I can fit more in the boot without anything getting squashed. Not sure of the dimensions of the CRV but most of these 4WDs are actually smaller widthways and lengthways than a stagea.

Anyways, I'll take my "stagea fanboi" hat off now and leave you alone... :)

nah she doesn't want a real 4wd - just a pretend little one that is bigger than a sedan, but not so big as to be a bugger to drive around. Even the CRV is not that comfortable for long trips compared to the Accord Euro, so she is rethinking a bit. I am working on her for something like a Grange .... bigger than the Euro, but still a normal car, rather than a big clunky 4wd. We often do interstate trips (Warrnambool and Great Ocean Rd this Xmas), so really want some serious comfort. And she NEEDS all the important things that the Euro has like leather seats, moon roof, seat heaters, auto headlights, auto windscreen wipers, etc etc.

Dont do it mate, better off getting a Caprice. Highly inflated HSV prices for not a real lot more. Im with Bec, go a CX-7 or CX-9 Andrew
