Did you check the Power Sterring level at the Back. If not look in the boot and on the right hand side there should be a cover you can remove and you can see the bottle and top it up.

Thats for R32s tho, R33 might be different.

Also check the HICAS Fuse in the fuse box, some ppl take it out to make the car RWD.

Although a lot of ppl don't like the HICAS it is still noticable. When my light came on and I started to turn in car parks, I could feel the steering alittle heavier as if there was a loss of movment.

Top the rear power steering fluid up and it was back to normal.

That's the ATTESSA reservoir. And 33s have electric HICAS (?)

If you've had a wheel alignment recently, did they align the front with the steering wheel straight, or did they straighten the steering wheel to the fronts wheels?

Ageed. Rear HICAS reservoir??? There are sensors in ur steering column as you know. They read a fault if you need to hold your wheel at 20 odd deg off centre either side for a long period and you go over 70-80 kph? Check ur wheel alignment.

I have an after market Momo steering wheel and appear the same HICAS problem as the above. I've recently done wheel alignment so this shouldn't be an issue - however my steering wheel is sometimes off the center (sometimes better and sometimes worse). What can cause this problem?
