Hi all,

I'm progressively going through my car and replacing bits that are most likely to have worn over time. Working through my list, I've done water and fuel pumps, spark plugs, suspension bushes. I figure it's about time I did the hoses too.

Basically, I'm looking at getting a bunch of silicone hoses like the sets that Ministry of Bass is selling, such as: http://www.ministryofbass.com.au/moshop/pr...products_id=261

Some questions:

1. Are there any special precautions to take when replacing hoses, other than making sure that I use good hose clamps and that the hoses are properly secured?

2. <noob-ish stupid question> Are there any hoses that are likely to have fluids in them that I'll have to be aware of?

3. Any other hose-replacing tips?

Thanks guys
