I swear this city is turning into shit....

Same thing happened to me at new years, except I was in Carnarvon, me and two boarding school mates. On our way to Coral Bay we spent a couple of nights at a mate's place who's got a plantation there. About 7 of us head to the pub and us three went to leave early, out the front we saw four aboes that ran from one patch of bushes to another, signalling at us to another group... The bouncer told us to take the back way so we legged it down to the Gascoyne River (which is nothing more than a riverbed atm)... In pursuit were about 4 aboes and we had to leg it pretty fast, just before the levee bank there is a fenceline, my mate, being a local knew about it, so he got us there pretty quick. We dived over the fence, pluggers in hand, we got back up only to see the leading abo poleaxed himself on a starpicket (not impale though )... It was one of the worst noises I've ever heard, must've cracked a rip or something, then his three mates tended to him as we legged it down river-bed to his plantation....

Some guy tried to brawl me in Northbridge last May, whilst I'll still in my sling (sholder recon).... He wanted my shoes, I said no about three times then he shouted "OI C**T! DO YA LIKE YOUR F***ING SHOES??? I'M GONNA TAKE EM YOU FAT F*CK!", so stupidly I blurted out "SO, DO YA LIKE YA FRONT TEETH YOU F*CKING KNOB??"... I couldn't believe it... He backed off.. I was with my mate's ex at the atm, she proceeded to slap me across the face really hard and shouted at me "YOUR F*CKING MAD!!! YOU TOOL!!"... l0l... Gud times...

The law does not agree with me, but I don't care. If someone is going to take the liberty of violating your rights, the right to be free and to unmolesters whilst minding your own business... It is unacceptable, if people are going to freely violate rights, then their rights must be relinquished in the process, show strength and solidarity.. All that evil requires to prevail, is for good people to do nothing... Do your part by not giving an inch, don't waver, don't back down.. People must be taught (the hard way if need be), that you can't just go an threaten someone for no reason and impose your will without good cause....

I'm being serious, no need to act like a tough rap/gangsta pimp daddy... I realise not everyone is a fighter, but for God's sake... Defend yourself...

How any any way, shape or form did his actions help the rest of us? What he did was escalate a small incident and has stated with others rediculous encouragement that he will go back armed to find them if possible...wtf is that? Is that being a staunch man?

He ran home to get his baseball bat then ran back again.....who's the animal? Why not sms 100 cousins while your at it?

I'd have ran at them or called the cops depending the situation.. not run away and return when the odds are in your favour.

If you don't want to risk violence report it...enough reports over time = increased police presence, use your head.

Friggin dickhead wigger attitudes are arse pure and simple.

What you really need is a big gun, some pepper spray,a tazer, a cudgel, a huge knife and a baseball bat..that'll show em that you're a big man! Kill em all it's justified. Fair the dinkum!

On another note On Australia Day at coogee beach my younger brother was belted by some native people 5 constantly hitting him the other 10 stood back with metal star pickets and a baseball bat he was lucky to walk away with a broken jaw in a few places. apparently they just hit him cause he had alcohol which would be believable in some ways. However cops arrived tasers came out and they ran off. Luckily the police have identified them all and justice will be served in some manner

but it is a shame that perth is getting this way i remember back when i was like 6 and you could basically sleep with your house unlocked and could go out in public without getting into an arguement

I live in Griffith NSW... the City where Andrew Farrugia was tragically killed by an Aboriginal youth as he was waiting for a taxi on NYE 2007. I have seen how many Aboriginals behave and how they consider themselves to be elevated to hero status after the event but I'll leave it there. I dont believe in what you said... infact I think you've turned a mountain out of a mole hill by your're reaction there. What I do believe in is standing up for yourself in these situations.

I don't know your background, or where you were bought up or in fact how much "street experience" you in fact have. I'm not sure if your Wigger or any other of your derogatory comments were aimed at me.

But to clarify what I was saying was " to be very cautious of how situations NOW days can escolate very quickly".

Also from my experience young teens / guys don't stop at getting a person on the ground but keep going which usually leads to several kicks to the head and face.

I hardly think that this kind of situation would allow the victim to make a call to OOO and the very fast acting WA police service to arrive and remedy the situation.

I don't endorse weapons, what I will say is if you can't get out of the situation either leg it and make sure you can get away or if you do confront them make every contact towards the other person as if it was your last.

I'm not saying come back with spiderman or SMS a 1000 habibs or anything.

and as a side question if a bunch of guys came at you with no exits how would you deal with it? you seem to provide an open dialog on how things shouldn't be done, shed some light with your "non wigga" ways how would you deal with it.... perhaps you would go Gandhi styles? , your would get down on all fours?, plead to their sense of humanity?

Yes I would run at them, guaranteed unless they were off their heads they'd have seen me coming and ran like all hell. I'm no kid, not even close...no teen or young fella in their right mind would go a man who looks like he could pop their head like a grape. Yes I'm a genetic freak like all the males in my family.

If he ran in the first place he should have called the cops as I said previously...the more complaints the more likely the police will increase their presence.

I spent some time with the army in Perth in the early 90's, was also there in 87-88 for the americas cup...great time, great people, great place.

ps Just running off was the good thing to do, returning wasn't. As for calling the cops, they wouldn't have been able to get there in time to do anything. Next time, there may not be a chance to call them before you get bashed. If you are attacked you have the right to defend yourself through any means, but if they stopped attacking you (ie you've taken control), you can't then continue.

Perth is Safer with UNNA PATROL in Northbridge...NOT
