i still think its a cat in there its bolts around the other way (from what someone suggested) you can see the hanger on the other end the hangers go at the back of the car, and you can also see the bend where it geos up to the dump pipe, i might be wrong though....

Like everyone else said thats a resonator, you are talking about the little bullet shapped thing yes?

There is no cat converter in that exhaust, hence why its called a "catback exhaust", its bolts to the end of the cat converter!

+1 for resonator

if you want a relatively quiet exhaust i can highly recommend the Trust Power Extreme II as the catback system. I have this with a split dump & high flow catco cat and couldnt be happier.

Cheers

obviously the split dump and high flow cat adds the performance aspect to it.....how loud is it with these parts?

the split dump and cat have rather little affect on how loud the exhaust is (although they will to a certain degree). its more about the two mufflers. The Power extreme has a large center muffler instead of just a hotdog or resonator and the cannon muffler at the rear isn't stupidly big so its not droney. Its definitely an EPA friendly exhaust combo.
