Just had a quick look but I couldnt seem to find a thread about the greatest game ever Guitar Hero! haha

How many of you guys have it? Number 1, 2 or 3 and how good are ya???

Ive finished 1 & 2 on expert and all except raining blood on number 3.

Love these games, have nearly 5-starred all songs on expert. Same deal though, i cannot finish Raining Blood on expert! Its ridiculous

I am upto Raining Blood and Number Of The Beast on Hard. friggin ridiculous!

I like Cliffs Of Dover, Heir Kommt Alex, Impulse and Through The Fire And Flames on medium

I got 100% on expert for even flow last nite!

Cliffs of Dover is definately one of my favourites tho, along with pride and joy and One!!

Remember you dont have to strum every note when they are in quick succession, like in a solo.... makes things easier.

Im gonna have to have a good go and get through raining blood tho, its starting to piss me off now!

Still, fun game to play. My g/f's brother has it on xbox... I was sh%t at it, so I whipped out my own guitar and started playing along

Lou on hard seems to catch alot of people out, I still haven't completed raining blood on hard yet. Done Number of the Beast though

I also play real guitar, I've got an Ibanez RG370DX

wasn't sure about this game.. looked kinda silly and didn't think it could be much fun.. boy was i wrong.. i now own GH2 and GH3 on xbox 360. finished both on hard, but now i mostly just play when i'm having some drinks with friends..

Its all graphics really, Guitar hero 3 has different secret characters and different guitar controllers across platforms but otherwise completly the same game

the best option is to grab the gh2 contoller to play gh3. If you play on a high def TV there is a certain amount of lag that comes with wireless. Yes you can adjust it but i notice the wii is very slow, especially when the sound on the wii version of gt3 is only mono. The other two platforms are just great fun, Just to be picki, BTW 'raining blood' why would you make that harder than 'one'. pffffttt.

Actually it's the TV that causes the lag. Larger LCDs and Plasmas especially have quite severe lag (even in game mode). I've played it on xbox 360 and Wii, and i found that xbox was much better.. stereo, controller was better, graphics are nicer too.
