Brendan, Most mechanics don't know much about imports, they'll be able to change plugs etc, but are generally very poor at diagnosing problems. I'd suggest taking it to someone who specialises in servicing imports or dyno tuning to get a proper low down.

Hey Brendan

I had this type off problem with my first R33 after 8 months finally found out it was a dodgy coil pack. Take of the cover and spray the head either side of the packs with CRC of something similar as this will stop the faulty pack arc-ing on the head and should reduce the amount of misfire. Hope this helps.
