N1 Water Pump

Does anyone think it is worth getting an N1 water pump(supplied by UAS for $185) compared to a regular one, which would probably be about $100?

Aparently, the N1 is a 6 fin, flows more water, and does not cavitate(dont know what that means) at higher revs.

i have an N1 water pump and paid 155 for it i think. my mech. got it for me so i dunno where to get em from for that price. my 33 runs a smidge cooler with it i believe.

i can get a regular one probably for about $100

and i have $35 credit at UAS that im not gonna use on anything else, so i would be spending 150 on the pump, is it worth 50 more?

im beginning to think that is is worth it cuz i will never replace it again so i might as well get the better thing, but then again i have a habit of buying the best of everything then being broke for periods......

Can someone let me know which Nissan dealers in Sydney have them for $155? I've found that prices between dealers vary a LOT. And some have items in stock, and others make you wait 6 weeks and pay the full shipping cost from Japan.

I think the water pump is the same on all RB series engines. This includes VL Commodores! My original intent was to buy the aftermarket VL Commodore replacement from Repco for around $70.
