Turbz_13 Posted February 15, 2008 Share Posted February 15, 2008 Looking at upgrading the turbos on my RB26 The 3 that im currently looking at are the HKS 2530, HKS GT-RS, Trust T517z and Trust T618z Just wondering if anyone could help me choose between the 4 of them! STATUS Posted February 15, 2008 Share Posted February 15, 2008 I like both HKS and TRUST STAY AWAY FROM T618Z they are for 280 degree cammed monsters, ive used them and they are not street friendly. GT-RS are too big for stock capacity RB26 517's (having been in a car that had them, and swapped out to the garrett 2530 equivs), the 517's weren't nearly as good. As i was told they were designed specificly for the RB26 to good response and mox power! now can some one tell me a turbo that will make 400rwkw's with the same type of response as these and are cheaper at all!!! if i can get these for $3,500 im not paying a cent more for anything inferior to these!
