Hey there people.

I just recently bought a 1994 R33 Skyline.

It has a Big HKS exhaust and a Greddy Intercooler and a HKS pod.

I had a bleed valve fitted and it is running at 11psi, punching out

187RWKW.

I was just wondering what is next to do to it. I just wanna do it and

not have to worry about replacing stuff over and over.

I was hoping for about 350-400+ ATW. The car is off the road for some

of the work to begin.

I am not made of money and I saved for years for this so I am

hoping to do the work myself.

Can you please help me out.

Thanks,

Shaun :ninja:

doubling your power atw is going to be a very costly excercise... You'll need to fully rebuild your motor with forged internals, and have an extensive parts list to achive those figures. ecu, injectors, afm, fuel pump, head gasket, plugs, coilpacks, manifold, plenum, fpr, monster turbo, new dump, ext wastegate, boost controller, cams, pistons, rods, just to name a few, the list goes on and on and i'm sure ive missed a lot of things too. Do more searching around the forced induction threads and you should find the answres you need.

R33silverS2 is right. Can't just pull Horse Power out of the air. Something has goto give. = Change more parts = more time = more money.

BTW ya air pod looks alittle dirty in that pic. Give it a clean and let the car breath better. Is your Greddy Intercooler a front mount? Just hard to see from that pic angle.

shaun_perry - what is the budget??? Thats the key point here you haven't mentioned.

And like a few people before you, i dont think you realise how much its going to cost yet

If its 20k - you might be lucky and get 350rwkw, but i would imagine it'll be closer to 25k.

Its not something you can realistically do yourself as its going to require a full motor build by a professional as when your spending big $$, you want it done right.

R33silverS2.

That pod filter has been replaced with a new filter element.

(00)skyline(00).

I am not sure of a budget but approx the 10-15K mark.

My father and I will be able to do the hard work like fitting parts and

possibly rebuilding the engine ourselves as he is a Mechanic.

There are not many "experts" in skylines and other jap imports here so

we will do the hard yards and we'll have it tuned elsewhere.

I was just wondering what the next mod is. the car will be off the

road till all the work is done.

Thanks guys.

Keep the tips coming.
