I have an rb20det and i need help knowing the truth of an iac/aac

Should there be a spring in there or not? i been told soo many things.

i will post a pic and cirlce the area in RED circle where I to believe should be a spring..

please let me know i really just need help with my rb20det its been 1 year and no run - run. : (

has a lot of problems that i'm unsure of and i did, tired a lot of stuff, and searched anything i could find.

please help.

If you go to the diy/ tutorials on this forum you will find a thread about cleaning and resetting an aac for a gtst.

I know you have a rb20det but the principle should be the same....

You will see that there is a spring in the aac.

I would think that it would be easier to get a whole aac unit than getting just a spring.
