Iv been searching for a long time now and all places in Adelaide have said i need to use heat proof(3 layer chroming) or it will change the look of the chrome and turn to a light blue/purple. Im looking at going over most of my engine bay nuts,brackets,rocker covers,alternator cover and so on. Iv seen a pic of the 2GU UP engine bay and looks unreal but its not heat proof chroming? I have painted my coilpack cover and front dust cover anodised blue... i just need my rocler covers chromed... Looked everywhere. I'd be interested in finding someone who does it, my engine bay is looking very boring.
