Help getting motor to start

Ok I need some mechanical advice.

When I got my new skyline (R33), I stopped driving my old skyline (R30 24E hatch) and now I can't start it!

Ive tried a number of measures, and done some investigation.

plugs are dirty as hell - but there's a spark.

fuel is delivered, but

I JUST CANT GET IT TO TURN OVER PROPERLY!!

Ive since flattenned and recharged the battery, to no effect. engine revs on key-turn but wont turn over.

any suggestions? Im reluctant to take it to a mechanic if it's gonna cost me $500 to fix, since the car's only worth about $1000. so, if I can do the work and figure out what's wrong myself, all the better!

the alternative is that I trade in the rego and wreck to car - which would be a pity cause it drives well - it just wont start!

maybe ur air flow meter, my r32 cranked over but wudn't start and turned out to be a bad air flow meter....jus a thought.

will it actually turn over?

does it have fuel? (or fresh fuel?)

yeah, changed fuel.

will "turn" i.e. "rum-rum-rum-rum-rum"

but will not start.

sounds like bad fuel (old) or the injectors could be sticking... just give them a few good taps on the metal part of the injectors to free them up.
