hey people,

just wondering if anyone knows anything in regards to the air conditioning and climate control in r32's. mine just stopped working, blows cool for abit then just warm but never what u would call cold, mechanic said the air con is all good, got gas, pumping etc and could be to do with climate control, does anyone have any ideas on this at all or know a good auto elec that might be able to help?

also as a side note the drivers window is also stuffing up in line with the air con which makes me think it could be electrical, which is just the most fun in cars! lol any help would be greatly appreciated:)

skips:)

Hey, I think it could be something to do with the motor which controls the hot/cool air. When you first drive the car, it's nice and cool cause the engine's still cold, but once it gets to operating temperature, the heat starts to come in. That's why the air is no longer cool.

From my experience, this was a common problem on the 32's. Try holding down the 'cold' button for about 10secs or until the sign "FC" appears. Should get to the coolest the system can go.

Give that a try and see if anything changes.

Run the diagnostics and see what temperatures your sensors are displaying. My guess is your intake air temp sensor is reading something like -24Deg (the sensor is faulty). Just recently fixed mine.

Cheers
