Car Starts When Afm Isnt Connected, And Then Doesnt When It Is

Ok so last night I got angry with the car and ripped the afm plug off and believe it or not the car started. And then when I connected it up, it didnt, wtf?!? So then I put a mates afm on and it still didnt start.

The car is running stock everything as I have stocked it our for sale so there is no d Jetro in play or anything

Any ideas? Im getting a mates ECU tomorrow and pluging that in to see if thats the problem but if anybody has any ideas it would be awesome

i have some suggestions

1) debug it with a mechanic / car sparky

2) stop making new threads

3) if the car starts with the AFM unplugged, its obvious the AFM your using is toast- try a new or check the wiring/fuses

4) last run stock ecu DIAG with the AFM connected, what is the AFM voltage with the car on ACC (not started)

1) Want to avoid it as its far from a mechanic in a mates garage

2) Well it was in ref to a different issue now so i thought a new title would be apropriate
