r31 gts-r???

hey guys...just wondering are they fast?

i mean i was in a rush to get back to my mates house to pick-up some runners that i forgot. and as i was rushing off home, a r31 (done up im assuming) gts-r (sticker???) was catching up to me. i mean we didnt do no stop start drag....but he/she was goin pretty fast. had avr, acr whatever its called stickers on it. in the tullamarine, gladstone park area. are they fast cars? i mean...the car looked fast.

Yea they do go pretty well. As fast as a stock 33 I'd expect.

Im thinkin it could be R31Nismoid but im not sure...

They should be damn fast- they were a race homologation special, running a bigger intercooler, bigger turbo etc than the GTS model. I think they made about 210ps (?) standard, would make a lot more with some mild mods...

Nismoid's car is mad, of course he has a RB25DET in his......

i thought the GTS-r made in the order of 250hp

and the GTS-x was around 200hp

all in all though, they are very nice speed machines

naaaa gts-x 180hp ~ gts-r 220hp it has bigger cooler, exhaust manifold, turbo, suspension, exhaust etc. saw one at the same place i bought mine for $12,000

it was yesterday. wed. nite about 7.45ish at tullamirine. if it was one of urs....then you should of seen a white skyline r33 sII...that was mine speeding off in a hurry to get my soccer runners.

sorta greyish, maybe blueish or black.

I know A guy with a black one. Not too sure where he lives anymore. Nuts car. Just very tiny in the back from what I remember. He must have been one of the first to bring them in as he had is about 5 (?) years ago. Imported it himself.

i just pulled out of tullamarine (melrose reception), to go back to my mates house so i can get some soccer shoes (indoor soccer). Cause we already started the game i raced off (under 60 all the way-legally) then as i passed u, i noticed u dumped a bit, especially after the roundabout. U took off and i was suprised. then i was just waiting to line up against against a set of traffic lights (on mickleham rd) but our luck stupid cars in front of us. i turned right to at the big mickleham rd roundabout and u went straight towards greenvale. maybe next time. ur car flies.
