Dino with the TEINS slammed to the max, a new set of 19" deep dish wheels, some AP racing calipers (colour coded of course), new 3 Litre stroker with Jun, TOMEI, HKS, APEXi, Sard, Toda stickers , I'm sure to push 600rwkw on the final battle dyno.

And with the F&F, 2F2F style SAU stickers on the windscreens plus the SAU flirt models - I'm sure we will attract a LOT of attention.

Bring it on ! Yeah

Seriously - what is the club criteria for entry ??? I got the opportunity (and desire) now to do something wicked.......

The girls we got were all friends, they got to choose what they wore, and they were pretty keen. And they were mostly single as well, so they used it as a perfect opportunity to pick up... meh... i got to apply the stickers on them :D (thank you god)

We'll be at final battle, coz our GTR is leading atm with 495rwkw :(:D hmm do I sense a SAU VIC vs SAU NSW final battle?

We've still got some merchandise left from our lil stint, so if you guys need anything let me know. Plus if u guys need any help with the paperwork etc. Cabin were complete dix with us and gave us a shit spot next to the cafeteria (think greasy fingers and chips). Make sure you're FAR away from the rotary boys, and more near the asian stands (with the hondas etc). Rotaries are loud, drunken yobbos, they put out a lot of exhaust and they like to rev their engines (farken loud as).

The main things that brought the crowds in were the dyno cars (we dyno'd 8 out of our 16 cars), the models (everyone wants a photo with a nice friendly girl who'll talk to em, not like the other groups who had pro models who pose and walk off), and finally we had a 4 way PS2 i-link comp going (kept the kids happy). Plus we all stood near our cars and explained to ppl what they were about etc. Our partners BMT motorsports also brought along a few turbo's and bits n pieces and showed ppl how they work etc. So yeah... jus some hints...

PS: if a BLCJET supra happens to rock up, remind it that it got its arse handed to it by a GTR with 50kms on it :D

BTW about 6 of the girls who modelled are on the forums... find em if you can :D

PM them on my behalf and let them know that im offering free accommodation, food, transport, umm and entry to the SAS hehe. Oh and also let em know that NSW singles are nicer than VIC singles so they are sure to hookup :uh-huh:

(whaaaaart?? Im serious).

lol well that's another thing... Cabin is tight with entry, they made our models line up and pay their own entry, coz they didn't wanna be part of the miss autosalon comp. (we had about 20 girls and none of em thought they would win, n didn't wanna wear anything skimpy :D)

Luckily for us we snuck out a few flyers and got the girls to hand out flyers while in queue, and they managed to jump/charm their way all the way 2 the top of the queue

Yup I put it down to work boredom (even though its busy) but I still believe we need some SAU NSW Laaaadies.

(I know u VIC SAU Models are reading these posts too so don't be shy  )

I hope they are reading this because they should be proud on how well they did. Typically you go to these shows, look at the cars and these girls dressed horribly giving everyone a fake smile. From the photos and feedback it sounds like they had a good time, got involved and they looked great.

That's a bit wanky, don't you think? :P

Why wouldn't we have a joint SAU stand instead of being divided like losers?

Anyway....... Leewah wouldn't stand a chance against Mario fawk.gif

hehe thought mario's car would be in a different class? I'd assume we'd all be under the SAU banner, I was just stating that it'd be funny if the top contenders for the event were all us (SAU)... well that's what happened with the AWD class anyways at MAS, only 1 non SAU entrant, so they scrapped it.

    • Nah no bearings, just slip fit.  Would be a reasonably challenging but not impossible job to modify it to run bearings but I'm hoping that's not necessary as I may have well built one myself if I end up spending hours modifying it!
    • Brumbys with good shells are bloody expensive, I've looked at 2 "cheaper" cars, and walked away from both,  plus after some research spare parts are fairly sparce I'm starting to think that I missed the boat on finding a clean one that is straight (ish) and without alot rust I'm starting to think about a old Hilux as panels and other parts are much more available as they sold tens of thousands of them I use to be indecisive but now I'm not sure
    • A Brumby would probably fit a big metal toolbox in the back... this is how it begins
    • Picked up a new OEM boot seal for the MX5 today as the old one got ripped a bit by me being a idiot by seeing if I could fit a large metal tool box in it, it didn't fit, and ripped the seal with the corner of the tool box I am still waiting on time to get the cams and new balancer installed, as well as the repairs to the boot Time will not be an issue soon though
