Painting Engine Covers

yep i mentioned that before

depends on what your doing with the car i guess :rofl:

just when i think of it , its normally about $800 for a 4 piece body kit to get painted .. engine covers are so so so much smaller lol

So lets assume its 800 all up, or 200 per panel (front back and 2 sides), why cant i find a painter to do my front bar for $200?

Needs N1 vents added (supplied) then sprayed white with black IC grill

what about your painter that did your engine cheap ?

what was it $50 ?

2 colours = lots more time as well

Yeah thats ages away, i was hoping for somewhere local

If i can get a local person ill go back to him

Keep in mind that each part is sand blasted back to raw metal , then primed . ( even polestered if a totaly smooth finish

is wanted) (example plenums ) . THen painted in base and finally cleared.

So its not just a quick rub down and a quick spray over the old paint, its all done properaly .

And as for prices on painting kits , I would rather rub a rear bar than every in and out in a plenum or cam covers.

Its not always size to be painted , there is a lot more time in little pieces
