as the topic states my headunit turned on.

it hasnt worked ever since my alternater died on me whilst driving.

i took out the head unit to check the fuses in the back

but there wernt any?

so if anyone could help on where to look next it would be much appreciated.

Well you haven't exactly flooded us with information!

Stock R32 headunit? aftermarket?

Anyway, I'd be checking for power at the back of the HU first... like get a multimeter (or a simple 12V test probe) and check for power between ground and both the +12V battery wire and the ACC wire. If there's power there, the headunit is buggered... if not it might be the fuse in the fusebay...

oh sorry its an aftermarket headunit.

i check all the fuses under the steering wheel and the engine bay all seem fine.

ill test the power coming out of the cables when i get home.

dont forget to check the fuse in the BACK of the unit... i wish i checked mine first when it blew....

yea i checked back there, but my headunit unfortunatly doesnt have a fuse back there.=[ i was really hoping it was that

pulled it apart.
