no...Mazda didn't totally abolish their RX-7 marque....just that the new one won't have much resemblence to the previous models...as wif the new GT-R using a V6...I've heard the new Supra will be using a V8??

I've also seen a concept of a S16 Silvia floating around...kinda looks like a 2-door camry though...

hahahahaha LOL! one day i will make it over there *dreams of a better life in japan*

oh and btw, im not 'worried' -- i hate to sound like a pratt but i'll do it anyway: my japanese is 0wnage. Im top of the grade, its about the only subject im reaaally good at, its this uncanny thing for language that I have. too bad the australian schooling system insists I must be good on an average of several subjects in order to get a decent uni entry score. sigh....

Yeah mate, I know what thats about. I didn't study Japanese at Uni, but I've got a few friends that did, and they all said the same thing basically... but they were better for it. So chin up eh?

so this is classified as the new GT-R?

Yes... and no. yes, in that it's a 2-door coupe, no in that these pics are a "guestimate", using the 1:5 scale clay model as the basis for the CG. Of course the clay model could change 25 times before they make a final descision.

All through that article, the writer re-iterates that this is their "Perfect Expectation"... you can read into that statement anyway you want, but thats just them being professional journalists, not blowing the whole suprise for Nissan, someone who buys advertising space in their 'zine.

So there you go. A "teaser"... ;)

Check out that link Demon Dave pointed out, gtst88.

But as far as being a mechanic is concerned, it's not worth it (moneywise - you get paid bugger-all compared to an English Teacher) unless you specifically wanted the experience. I while ago, I heard that a foreigner was working at Trial in Osaka, but I could be wrong there.

My advice is just e-mail one of the bigger garages (theres bound to be someone who understands English) and just try and shimmy a contract for 3 months or something...
