k people i have just put a rb25det out of a stagea whole thikng works fine apart form the idle its lumpy and all over the shop i have so far narrowed it down to the coolant temp sensor cause when i unplugg it it works better liek picks up the revs if i have a small bend in the hose for one of the i think heater lines would that effect it

i need help on this one im not sure what else to do if i unplugg the wire it wont start with it off but runs fine if you unplug it if already running

where else should i be looking

im not 100% on this but... if the coolant temp sensor isnt working and just tells the ecu the car is cold, then it puts more fuel in. so in your case, the ecu might be thinking the engine is still cold so adds more fuel and is slightly flooding it.

make sence?

This is what I'm thinking also, see if you can borrow a working temp sensor and check if yours is stuffed.
