Im about to put a surge tank setup in my r31det with a 2lt tank, stock r31 n/a pump as the lifter and bosh 040 from surge tank. Iv talk to a few ppl about the set up and all say i need a better pump from tank to surge tank(vlt or bosh pump) and i will also need a fireproof wall between boot and cabin to meet rules for track/drift days any help would be good.

  Nope, still smaller rear, put on the 4inch exhaust and picked up power everywhere, ended up just shy of 800rwhp. Didn't seem to be hitting any walls either, so perhaps could have pushed for more but all maybes and the fish that got away etc etc.
