lol, iv heard!

I would literally start with HKS. Find out from their site (use the translate tool) or from USA distributor of HKS gear, the rings that comes with pistons. The manufacture or reseller should be able to tell you.

I say this, a ring land is a hectic environment, with the manufacture accounting for a specific material, design etc. People do use random 3rd party rings, but often have mixed results.

Good luck dood

you need new rings every time the cylinder has been bored or honed. if you are running 87mm pistons you need new rings as well - and I'm very surprised the pistons did not come with rings. find an HKS distributor and get them ordered in.

Yes the engine I bought had hks pistons 87mm with some black coated at the bottom of the piston... also the engine had hks rods and cams!

So I just break everything down to check everything.. and to make some things that I read hear.. external oil return etc..!

I bought it with NISMO oil pump with early R32 crank!! Haha.. ofcourse I put jun crank collar!

I take the head and block for a "flatten" the faces and for a "brush" the cyllinders and I don't know if I need rings or no :(

yes you will need rings. email the HKS dealer in greece
