gday. i need to get a car transported to canberra from the gold coast. Has anyone had any experience doing this or any recomendations?

I know my mates dad had a mustang he bought delivered by rail from SA to Kingston.. perhaps that could be an option.

A couple days too late but I was just up there.

A couple of us have been in the same situation and ended up driving it back. Even taking into account time off work and fuel, it was much cheaper.

they have a branch in brisvegas and my mate used them to get his R34 down here... cost around $500-$600 i think and took 2 or 3 days. cost me $550 for them to bring my stagea from melbourne.

i think www.movingcars.com.au is one of the cheaper transport places.....

I havnt used them, but you can get online quotes

yeah i had a few quotes but im just going to drive the bloody thing back here. Its a bit expensive i think.
