hi all,

gotta replace the shockies and all in my r33 and will cost a fair bit cos i will be goin for a really decent set.....

so have been looking into coilovers.....but if i go that route i dont want them to be stiff at all...want them to be nice and soft....or just like the standard stiffness of the r33 stock suspension....not much harder.....

so can anyone guide me in the right direction to get the appropriate set for my car?

Thanks heaps

Matt

Any reason why you want coilovers but not the stiffness? Wouldnt it be easier/cheaper to go spring and shocks then...?

Atm i am using HKS Hipermax D. THey are pretty good fully adjustable so im sure you could find a setting that would suit you.

Ive also heard alot of cred about tien coilovers... you going to be using your sky for track work?

hi mate i would go for tein suspension either tein superstreet or tein flex with edfc so you can adjust the settings in the car.

cheers simon

hsd, jic, isc

all cheap brands that do the trick

if your not going to be using your car for track then you dont need expensive coilovers

as for stiffness thats why you get coilovers that are damper adjustable

theres nothing wrong with those 3 brands,

all hight, camber and damper adjustable

and will handle better then shock and springs\

not sure about skylines

but for silvias there price range is about 1000-1300
