Bov Problem

I put on a SSQV the other day and it doesnt seem to go well. My car goes choking out of sudden when driving and i have to restart my engine. It happens a few occassions especially when doing slow turnings and I'm not sure what was wrong. Anyone came accross the same problem?

A common problem for skylines is when fitting an atmo bov it may cause car to stall at drop down revs.

Sound like thats your case. If the Bov is not a new item it may also be screwed and leaking.

But it also happens at high revs...

don't use an atmo bov....use one that plumbs back or partial atmo

An aftermarket ECU will fix the problem.......... or just put the stock BOV back on - otherwise, plumb it back.

but i like that awesome swooshhh sound! stock bov and plumb back cant make that sound...lol

Sounds like its leaking.. Try Tighten it up.

which part leaking?..the two bolts or the spring screw?

why don't you just try what i'm doing, get a pfc and have no bov! otherwise get a plum back

Whats the pfc menu to do that your standard ecu wont do

i changed the plenum and decided not to put a bov on! i have no clue about the pfc so far because it's not in yet but i'll let the tuner do the work
