5mm Wheel Spacers Front And Rear For My R33 Gtr, Is This Going To Be Ok?

Just wondering if i should be ok fitting 5mm wheel spacers on my r33 gtr???front and rear, i hear different opinions from different people......most say 5mm you wont affect handling or anything...others say it will....i just want a tougher look to my car.

You won't notice anything, excpet if the wheels fall off because there isn't enough stud for the nuts to hold.

Wheels spacers are illegal (defectable), and your insurance company could potentially refuse a claim on that basis.

5mm is pushing it.

It also depends on the wheel. some are thicker than others at the base of the cut out for the nuts. My old ssr indy 500's still had about 10mm of thread left with a 5mm spacer. My ns01's had about 2 turns worth with the same spacer so i fitted longer studs.

Just go for quality hub centric spacers and it should be fine. It should just seem like a lower offset wheel to the car.

Not everything else can cause your wheels to fall off

Don't bother with slip-ons, the only ones that I would go for are bolt-ons. While there is always the risk of a wheel coming off regardless of which approach you choose, with the bolt-ons there is a lesser amount of risk than with the slip-ons.
