Skid Pad Days?

Hey i was wondering if there any skid pad days organised? I would love to learn a bit my car in a controlled environment. Would prefer if the ground was wet to put less strain on the car.

The wet skidpan track at attwood complex isnt available anymore to Driver Dynamics. I dont think there is any other replacement for a wet-based skidpan

Alot of wet skidpans are closed due to water restrictions. I know Subaru Docklands had to close theirs down too.

Theres a wet skidpan in canberra, but you probably don't want to drive that far lol

lol maybe just get some buckets of water and go to bunnings car park

but seriously maybe a driver's training day would be better as i think they put you through wet braking and cornering depending on which one you choose

Pretty sure Kev said the skidpan was getting upgrades and skidpan days would start again in june or july... there's a thread around here somewhere with it in

Yes Crispy its true - there is a possibility that the skidpan will be able to be used again in the 2nd half of the year.=, but nothings confirmed yet.

Unfortunately, until we have somewhere close by for Kev to use for days like this, we cant organise anything

The one everyone is referring to in this thread, use to be run by kev from driver dynamics at the police driving school in attwood. This is a circular skid pan used for "skid control" and not a large flat pan as such. It is wet too.

It it gets back up and running mid year shotguns booking in one of the first weeks kev
