The stock plenum on the neo apparantly has different injectors to previous RB25s. They are a skinny plastic injector, and the biggest about are 440 odd cc from HKS.

this is from a mag article (HPI) of a Neo buildup. But probably wouldnt be a hassel if you dont intend tuning very hard, or decide to get a different plenum?

Some bits that I know, R34GTT RB25DET makes 206 kw standard, turbo is Hitachi copy of Garrett and looks the same as a late model R33, has a ceramic turbine and a plastic compressor wheel. (Still ball bearing hi flow easily for 230 rwkw). Have much more movement in the VVT than I have seen on R33's. Compression ratio is 9 to 1. ECU is much more sophisticated, upgrading to a Power FC is the go. Although I haven't measured them, the valves look to be the same size. Injectors are skinny plastic things, seem to flow around the same as R33 ones (370 cc's), so OK to around 230 rwkw.

Hope that helps

R33's have steel compressor wheels, right? How high can you wind up the boost on one of these turbo's with nylon compressors?

Heh did you want a reliable figure? Disconnect the hose to the actuator and see if you don't.
