I think it's only a problem for 33s and 34s as they run preload on the clutches or something. That is why you need to drop the driveshaft to put them on 2wd dynos..

Exactly right, 32's dont have any preload on the clutches so you can just pop the fuse out and away you go. The only thing you will be damaging is your tires...

you ever broken one russ? ours has never died over the years, even after targa when we had the high speed off road excursion when the castor rod broke.

yeah ours failed in the black 32 played up really weird too, only sending 4wd forward when it felt like it,
