O2o2o2o2o2o2 Sensor

OK i have read alot of threads regarding the o2 sensor, but none of them helped.

I believe my sensor has packed in, the check light came on, i done a self diagnostic on it came up sensor fault, cleared it and done it again a week later no FAULT?! weird! as my gas hase drropped 40kms to a tank!..... well i measured resistance in the circuit was about 5ohms, unplugged the sensor expecting the check light to come on IT DIDNT! does that mean its ok? well it can not be since the dam sensor is not plugged in... tried running the car at 2000rpm and putting it in o2 check mode NO pulsing check light nothing GRRRRRH..... price up a o2 sensor in NZ $380 for a EL ford one and $460 for nissan one shit...

has anyone had this problem of no check light?

ask for a 3 wire EL FALCON 02 sensor. $70 from repco

is a direct replacement

Hi i would but over here they are $380 bucks hence my decision not to just pay it untill its confirmed, dam NZ rip off country!!!

NGK make an o2 sensor specifically for the R33 so they may make one for the R34 (if they are not identical anyway). I bought mine from bursons cheaper than I could find listed on this forum.
