How Good Are Kyb Shocks?

Just wanting to know how good are KYB shock absorbers?

Any experiences with them etc....

If you are talking about the cheap KYB shocks then I recommand steer clear. I am running some in my R32 GTS-T and the stock shocks were so much better. I was running mine to get me by till I could upgrade my suspension but too many things have come up this year so far so I am stuck with them for awhile longer and its bad.

Depends how well they are set up to a degree. After that, you get what you pay for.

AGX adjustables are pretty good aparently

of course not as good as bilsteins of course

or a coilover suspension

but would be better then stock suspension

i use kyb shocks in my car and they are fine. had them in my old 33 as well. nothing wrong with them. i think they are also what nissan runs standard in the n15 SSS

Just had my fronts replaced with KYB and they are feeling great so far. They were recommended by my mechanic........and yeah so far so good, nice firm feeling.

Doesnt KYB manufacture OEM shocks for the majority of Japanese cars?

I had shortened KYB shocks with King superlows in my falcon.Handled good on the street.And for the price i would do it again.Not in the skyline though.Teins FTW.

i have a set for back and front in my r33 , handles great and its not too bumpy for street

I have Buzzspec kyb shocks on my R33 and I think they are great! Very stiff ride even on the lowest setting but thats the way i like it
