OK, to cut a long story short my car had a turbo timer when it left Japan but when I collected it from compliance it didn't have one - but the harness is still there. So rather than point fingers and end up wasting my time and everyone elses time i'd like to know what unit I used to have and replace it.

The wiring harness is still there so rather than rip it out and start again, why not use it?

Picture is here - apologies for the low-res nature.

I'm *guessing* it's an Apexi unit but i'm open to suggestion.

bit hard to tell but to me that looks like an old Blitz FATT. don't worry you are not missing much. to be honest I would just go without one. my GTR has one, my silvia has one, my legacy GT doesn't and is much better off! and no, I didn't buy or install any of them.

Thread grave dig time!

As it turns out It was a Blitz ASTT X - It has a problem too:

After the car has been running and I turn the key from ON to ACC the time kicks in like it should, however if I turn the key from ACC to OFF the engine shuts down but the timer keeps counting down regardless. I've checked the harness under the dash and it all appears to be in order and i'm stuck for ideas on what else could be wrong with it.

Ideas anyone?
