silly me!! d'oh!

Thanks Bobby!

James - rear seat is piss easy :)

Sucks now, no passengers are allowed, so my mrs wont be going :D

Yeah i saw that on the Autosports site.

Pretty stupid i think. I haven't been to 100's of track days, but the one's i have been to I am yet to see any issues with passengers or people mucking up with passengers.

It was part of the attraction for me.

chubs, you're going down.......my new bigger wheels will give me road contact, my bodykit will save me some weight and my big ass wing will give me more downforce................and I wouldn't be surprised if I score a slower time than before LOL

I should be faster in theory..........but we all know, a lot of things work well in theory.... like communism.

Most likely I'll be heading down early in the morning e.g. 5:30 or 6 so anyone wanting to meet up, arrange something.

I will be there, though i leave from campbelltown so won't be meeting up.

If you pass a white ford ute pulling a black silvia give me a wave.

My car won't be ready in time. It'll be running tomorrow but really needs a tune and an alignment before seeing action.

James, I was 1 second slower than you in the pouring rain :D

but bring it on biatch!!!!!!

lol not that I can bring it since it's still missing a lot of the go fast bits. I've been focusing too much on go pretty bits these days. As long as I don't go slower than my old times I'll be happy.

Same :w00t:

Thing was that big EVO crash from last track day, he didnt have a passenger in the car.

But dont worry, our SAU Track day will have passengers, I hope :)

Yep we will be having passengers for driver training at out Track day! :D

yeah, i think it came down to the evo not knowing what the fu(k was going on and the driver was used to the car doing all the work....

Probably a bit harsh, but after watching a few pretty big moments out of turn 10 in my rear vision mirror where a couple of evos figured they'd just drive straight past me on the inside before they were straight (and ensuing massive primary and secondary oversteer moments before they gathered it up), and seeing a couple more do it when i was on the pit wall, someone had to have an off there.

It was unfortunate it was such a big one and i don't wish it on anyone despite my opinion of evo drivers..... give me a challenging car to drive any day!

Nah you are right there Dave,

I totally agree.

To be honest - the guy before the crash was going hard, I'd say 10 tenths. He was over taking people underbrakes in the wet, whereever possible. Even when there was the big drivers breifing to not drive hard out there. He simply didnt listen.

And yes, as an SAU VIC member once said, "even Stevie Wonder can drive an EVO quick"

A challenging RWD FTW!!! :D

nothing wrong with going 10 tenths :D I did it myself when the dryish line started to appear. Then i put a wheel in the wet stuff :D and my front right wheel did a good impersonation of a shovel..... Bastard car is still dripping mud on my back slab when it rains.

Though i am quite happy to take all the credit for my quality driving :D

Out of interest, has anyone here signed up for the tamperedmotorsport day on the 22nd? 50 cars, $140, timing included. Pretty sure it's the new owner running it

amen brotha......

weather should be fine, I checked yesterday.

cross a few fingers that I get the bucket seat in before saturday

If anyone here does a rain dance I'll slap you into 2009

Dave - oh mate, in the dry I'll try and go as hard as possible! I just think that day wasnt the day to do it!! :P

Ben - yeah mate bring the semi's you'll be right :P

Michele - w0000000t go for the formula!! that will be awesome to watch!!

James - cool mate what seat? You'll be really surprised how much it holds you in! With my standard seat I was fighting myself from sliding in the seat round corners, which makes me lose concentration on the actuall corner!

my bucket seat helps a shitload!
