Hey,

I purchased some gtr33 injectors and had the flow tested and cleaned and they are all good, everyone sais they are a straight fit into rb20 wiring loom but its no fitting!!!! whats going on!!! how do i get them too fit

I had the same problem with mine. On the injectors there was a little plastic tab that didn't line up with the plug properly. You will have to file or cut that off for the plug to fit. Then it should be fine.

Hey,

Just thinking about this again then and i remembered i had to cut off a plastic tab on the outside of the injector plug and also a little plastic rib on the inside near the terminal pins. Did the first one with a stanley knife which took a while... did the rest with a dremel which made short work of it!

I just fitted similar injectors in my car, yes, I had to get the tabs down on the inside and outside of the plug, I just used a stanley knife, took a while but it did a neat job.

The Mafia - Yes you do need a resistor pack when running a RB26 Power FC as that is what I am using on my RB20 with my injectors. You need to remember that the GTR also uses the resistor pack, so the computer needs/is expecting to read with the resistor pack.

thanks for your replies.

These resistor packs - can you buy them or do you just put some resistors inline somewhere?

You can buy a 2nd hand GTR resistor pack which will do the job perfect or you can buy resistors from JAYCAR or somewhere similar to there to use

People generally use the resistor pack as its neater and easier, but some people have bought individual resistors and done it that way - this is more due to cost I'd say as people are wanting stupid amount of $ for 2nd hand resistor packs
