Psymon
I had the same problem with mine. On the injectors there was a little plastic tab that didn't line up with the plug properly. You will have to file or cut that off for the plug to fit. Then it should be fine. abu
Make sure you install the resistor pack otherwise the GTR injectors won't run Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/208275-urgent-help-gtr-injectors-not-fitting/#findComment-3687681 Share on other sites
The Mafia
do you need a resistor pack if you're using a RB26 PowerFC? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/208275-urgent-help-gtr-injectors-not-fitting/#findComment-3687683 Share on other sites

Did the first one with a stanley knife which took a while... did the rest with a dremel which made short work of it! abu
do you need a resistor pack if you're using a RB26 PowerFC? Yep you do Standard ECU & PFC are designed to read high impedance, but GTR injectors are low impedance Resistor pack to compensate Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/208275-urgent-help-gtr-injectors-not-fitting/#findComment-3688196 Share on other sites

47une
I just fitted similar injectors in my car, yes, I had to get the tabs down on the inside and outside of the plug, I just used a stanley knife, took a while but it did a neat job. The Mafia - Yes you do need a resistor pack when running a RB26 Power FC as that is what I am using on my RB20 with my injectors. You need to remember that the GTR also uses the resistor pack, so the computer needs/is expecting to read with the resistor pack. The Mafia
thanks for your replies. These resistor packs - can you buy them or do you just put some resistors inline somewhere? abu
thanks for your replies. These resistor packs - can you buy them or do you just put some resistors inline somewhere? You can buy a 2nd hand GTR resistor pack which will do the job perfect or you can buy resistors from JAYCAR or somewhere similar to there to use People generally use the resistor pack as its neater and easier, but some people have bought individual resistors and done it that way - this is more due to cost I'd say as people are wanting stupid amount of $ for 2nd hand resistor packs More info & write up: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gt...det-t62674.html Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/208275-urgent-help-gtr-injectors-not-fitting/#findComment-3690209 Share on other sites
RaZ_TuRbO
Just wondering if anypne has fitted gtr injectors with a resistor pack but using an safc?? i was thinking in theory i just turn the fuel settings down into the minus.
