Congrats to Paul and all who made it a very very cool day. There was an awsome amount of track time and even though some found the wall at carosell, i think everyone enjoyed the chance to have a good strap around a fantastic old track.

Big thubs up x 2 to Paul and his team of helpers for a great day.. Man it sure was good to get back onto Lakeside...going under the bridge is sure to put a grin on anybody's face. I know i was grining like an idiot all day, still am . Lets hope its a sign of things to come.

I went out to take some pics - meant to bring them with me today but I don't do Monday mornings very well I'm afraid... will post some up tomorrow. Was great to see so many GTRs, Evos etc running flat out around Lakeside

Most ppl posted times in 65ish sec or less. Some the faster GTRs were down into the 61's.....there was a red 32 GTR nudging into the 60's with me in my 33 GTST

As for photo's, I was too busy driving. Have some footage that needs converting off a digital camcorder (tape type) but I dont know how yet.

It was a great day thats for sure. Thanks to everyone who came out and raced or helped. We had 39 starters on the day.

I spoke to track management today and as soon as they are in a position to let me book another day we will be back !!

I have seen some good pics around the web of the day, keep them coming guys !!

Just to echo everyone else a big thanks to the Timeattack team for a great day - got plenty of laps in - didn't have enough fuel left for the last session! Count me in for the next day !!

it is great to get back out there hey? I was there in my old Datsun the week before it closed. was lucky enough to get on the track during its official closure for a "driver training" day in my GTR, and was in the first group to get commercial use of the track last month in the Supra. Can't wait to get my current track toy out there as soon as I can after a full exhaust goes on!

apparently there's a court hearing contesting the opening of the track sometime next month, and Tetly wants to get as much racing in before that as possible.

Only your sphincter makes those noise's, I hear Toyota's do that to their drivers.

The rear guards just touch the leters on the side wall..... just with some sidewall flex too. Its not hurting anything.

Thats an excellent quality video, very instructive, thanks. Have to say you 4wdrivers miss out on a lot of 'fun' though

Thats because toyotas are an exciting car to drive... which reminds me, doesnt your missus drive a toyota? lol

Some of the letters must be higher then the others. I listened to video again and could only hear "B*IDGE*TO*E" when it was rubbing
