Twin Turbo Rb20 2.2 Redtop Nics 12porthead

This is a far off thing but im just interested in how my car would run with a twin setup, its a 2.2litre rb20 Redtop NICS. Its currently running a apexi ax53b70 which can also b used in a twin setup, if i was to put another of the same turbo on the engine wot would the end result be? its a 2.2 so its got abit more to give the turbos but i also heard that the nics has a 12port heard so its got better flow...? if any1 has got anything productive to add id like to hear it... im currently looking into a gt3037s but i dno a twin rb20 would b kool if it actualy worked

A twin turbo RB20 what not be very good option, it wouldn't come on boost till about 6000rpm even a 2.2l one!

there is a twin turbo RB20 laurel in SA atm. it came from queensland and was built in japan. It's rb20 with twin gtr turbo's + cams = 230rwkw at 14psi i think...

and the 3037s - do it!!!!

I've got RB24 with a GT3076r - 262rwkw and i've got a set of cams on the way so should be more. (head is standard atm)

huddy, how does the twin turbo rb20 respond to boost?

im pretty keen on the 3037s im thinkin thats the best bet i really wanna hit 260rwkw+

huddy, do u no wot how boost hits on that twin turbo rb20? 14psi for 230rwkw is pretty fat for gtr turbos... but i think ill b going for the 3037s

230rwkw is easy for GTR turbos. Mine makes 220awkw on stock twins, and thats with a rooted catalytic converter.

there was a twin turbo rb20 on these forums in nsw, its do-able but he ended up getting rid of it. its a lot of lag for a little fun.

your best bet is a single, but if you 'have' to go twins its not impossible, just a lot of custom work

i would lvoe to see it or hear more about a twinny set up on an rb20 but like most of them say the lag/fun factor would have to be thought about thoroughly.
