Cracks On Cooler Pipe

i found 2 small cracks on my cooler pipe and abit of black oil is coming out from it. Would it be best to replace that pipe or get it weld up? it is aluminium pipe and the last exhaust place I went to told me they don't do aluminium.

They said I need to find a place with TIG welder or something like that. Where can I find a place that can fix this around the northern subs?

I also found abit of oil on the corner of my intercooler core where the weld is. Does this mean that my core is leaking too? Can I get this repaired and flow tested?

Id just replace the pipe. Clean the oil of the cooler and see if it comes back, if so might wanna get that welded/tested etc. Other thing i'd be looking into is why there is so much oil in your cooler pipes.....

Yep not every place does ali welding as it does have to be done by someone who knows what they are doing and using the right equip.

As for the oil on your cooler....clean it off then go for a drive and if its back then yes you have a leak Oil is most likely in the intake system because of blow by....get a catch can to clean it up a bit or work out why the oil is there in the first place (too much boost / worn rings etc etc).
