hey,

i had my car on a jack and was taking my front wheels off when i noticed alot of play in the wheel..

like movement left to righ up and down..

now coz my car is defected it wont pass inspection so im wondering wat i need to do to fix it..

i have herd wheel bearing mentioned.. would this be correct?

its only the front left wheel... i have had all the control arms done and bushes and stuff..

any ideas?

now that regency is up to $200 i sorta wanna get through first time...

also, can u pass regency with two sets of rims?? like 16's and 18's? haha as my impuls sit a little wide on the rears...

Check the rack ends to ensure they don't have slop as well.

I replaced 1 wheel bearing but it was noisy. Driving straight it was quiet; on a slight bend it would whoopwhoopwhoop as they tend to do.

From memory the wheel bearing was around $250 inc labour.

yeh i did and i was told to go to regency if it passes then dispute the defect and ask for a re-embursment!! total crap i think...

hence y i have to sort out this wheel shit...

i was told there was a bearing just behind the brake which has play in it... is that the wheel bearing??

p.s i hate cops hahaha regency even said there standards are different to ours!
