Radiator Leak

My radiator in the GT-R has a crack in the top tank.

I was quoted ~$250 to get it fixed by replacing the top tank. (seems a bit steep to me)

or ~$550 for a new radiator.

Anybody have any advise on this?

Would it be better to get some kind of custom radiator put in instead for that price?

I don't really want to replace the top tank and then replace the bottom tank later - might as well go for anew radiator then?

There's a group buy going atm for dual core alloy radiators for $250+ delivery...or there's the Just Jap 1's that go for about $400 + delivery...they're triple core
