The only time you'd need to run 100 is if the car had a hardcore jap tune setup to get the most out of the jap fuel. If you have a standard ECU our 98 is fine. Of course you would have noticed the pinging by now if it was a problem.

Mmmmm, ive heard this a few time (what fuel??????)

ATM im using BP 95 RON and its woking fine......was using 98 RON at $1.55/L and thought id give the 95 a try. So far (about 8 months on) its been great, no ping, no rough driving/idling etc.

One fuel id stay clear of though is the ethanol blended ones.........runs rough, stalled my car a few times and simply cheap.

Also, just for piece of mind, ive seen on various nissan skyline fuel caps that we should be using "at least 95 RON unleaded"

Regards, Evan

I've tried V-Power Racing last year sometime...

You start the car in the morning...the idle just drop to around 500rpm as in wants to die, then it rev's itself...

Use 98ron again, starts normal everytime.

Didn't notice any difference at all.

r33 skylines are built to run on 95ron dude. check under your bonnet there will be a sticker that says "no less than 95ron."

so premium is the minimum, nothing less.

premium 98 would be your best bet.

100 is just unneccassary unless u have changed the timing drastically.
