One of the 2003 Tokyo Motor Show Concept car entries... the RX-7. The the article that goes along with that pic entertains the idea that Mazda "may" use a Supercharged version of the Renesis Rotary engine. Either way, a blown Renesis of some sort is on the cards...

Yep, RX01. I was wondering how many people remembered it?

Well, they say Mazda are gonna show it in Tokyo in October, and it really looks like they haven't changed much since '96 RX01, except give it a "Family face"... and a new engine.

>Ryosuke: Where did you hear that?;) No offence, I've heard some waaaaay out claims for all the successors to the Supra, NSX, GT-R, RX-7, and Lexus, but eg: Nissan using the R390 engine in the new GT-R? How on earth are they gonna get that to meet emmissions laws? And same with the 4-rotor?

All the new sportscars are gonna have all new eco-friendly engines. It sounds boring but thry're all gonna have the same or more power than their predecessors, and be lighter aswell.

I've got an NSX pic, but it was all CG, so I didn't put it up. But on that note, I have a friend working in Honda, and as soon as something breaks, I'll let you guys know.

Incidently, a garage called "Scoot Sports" have been working on an NA 4-rotor engine (2 12A's with a common crank) to put in an FD3S, they want to get it to 325km/h, no turbo, no Nos, street trim.
