Fitting 272 Degree By 10mm Lift

i'm doin a full rebuild on my rb26 and not sure if i should bother with getting stronger valve springs or if i should just use the standard ones i'm after bout 400 to 450 hp

what u guys think?

you can't use the standard springs for those size cams.

Tomei type a's for that

You need springs and valves not that simple

you dont need valves, but you will need to re shim the lifters to suit the new cams. More than likely cams of that size will have a smaller base circle.

i thought a lil re shiming was required but just wanted to know what tension spring was required to be reliable

run hks step 2 valve springs, they are suited exactly for thoes cams

Tomei type a's as what N1GTR said. Im using performance valve springs which you can get for abit cheaper. I only have pon cams though
